形態特徵

• Large perennial herbs ; stems erect, to 100 cm tall, branched above, densely pubescent throughout.
• Leaves opposite; lower leaves deeply pinnatifid, lobes 3–5 , terminal lobe much larger than lateral ones, long petiolate, pubescent on both surfaces and on margin; upper leaves short petiolate or sessile, undivided, lanceolate or elliptic, coarsely serrate, pubescent on both surfaces and margins.
• Inflorescence terminal and in axillary duplicate-corymbs, densely pubescent; lower bracts ciliate; upper bracts glabrous; bracteoles ovoid, 1.5 mm long, densely pubescent; calyx minute, 5-lobed; corolla white, ca. 4 mm across; regularly 5-lobed, segments spreading, tube short; stamens 4, inserted at base of corolla tube, filaments linear, 2.5–3 mm long, sparsely hairy below; style linear, 2 mm long, stigma capitate.
• Achenes obovoid, 2–3 mm long, thick, wing orbicular, 5–6 mm across, with distinctly anastomosing veinlets.
• This species is similar to <i>P. formosana</i>, but differs in having the lower leaves deeply pinnately divided, in having 4, instead of 2, stamens, and with bracts that are glabrous on the upper side.

分布

• 台灣 : in broad-leaved forests at medium altitudes.
• 世界 : Japan, Korea, mainland China and the Ryukyus.
